Article Collection
Article Collection documents the synthesis research of audio engineer Christopher Latina through the composition of experiments in spectral morphology. Using real-time signal analysis, the works mutate topographically, mimicking the physical and aural sensations of aeronautical exploration. With releases on Barcelona's Anòmia imprint and his own Private Archive imprint, Latina has exhibited this work in the form of performance, film soundtrack and installation in various museums and galleries throughout North America and Europe.
Schmitt
Schmitt Computations is a platform for extreme hypermedia. Derived at the cross-hair of industrial and sound-system culture, the label showcases fast-paced multi-sensory computer music. Schmitt is an ephemeral alliance between label provocateurs Christopher Latina (Article Collection) and Christopher Ashbrook (Aigokeros). Together, their music forms crystalline helices of psychedelic hardcore synthesis.
