RECOMBINANT festival is a showcase of 360-degree spatial cinema and sound, and live audio-visual performances developed in collaboration with\u00a0Recombinant Media Labs<\/strong>\u00a0over the last twenty years.<\/span><\/p>\n

This historic 10-screen\u00a0CineChamber<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0apparatus at the\u00a0Gray Area Grand Theater<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0propels audiences into a 'VR mindset without the headset'; which extends the single viewer platform\u00a0of virtual and augmented reality into a shared experience of immersive panorama.<\/span><\/p>\n

After last years California re-launch and Return of Recombinant to the Bay Area after a full decade, RML is presenting two full programs of world premiere CineChamber works:<\/span><\/p>\n

GONE, GONE BEYOND by People Like Us<\/a>, MEMENTO STELLA by Makino Takashi<\/a>, KUROSHIO by Philip Jeck<\/a>, Michaela Grill<\/a>, & Karl Lemieux<\/a>, HYPNOSIS DISPLAY (version) by Grouper<\/a> and Paul Clipson, and three new pieces by MASAKO TANAKA<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Featuring a full, three-day, residency with MARTIN REV<\/a> of SUICIDE in person, with visuals from Divine <\/a>Enfant.<\/span><\/p>\n

Martin Rev plays Solo<\/strong> \u2014 Friday, Oct 13th. Powerful live tracks from the last 35 years, plus this year's \"Demolition 9\u201d standouts. Pedestrian Deposit opens along with a special guest to be announced. We will also be joined by audio ingress artist Neha Spellfish<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Martin Rev plays Suicide<\/strong> \u2014 Saturday, October 14th. Rev re-customizes the content from the Suicide album archives thru the ages. Daniel Menche<\/a> and special mystery guest TBA will be opening... and somewhere in the theater, Neha Spellfish will be frequency hexing the space.<\/span><\/p>\n

Martin Rev talks Suicide<\/strong> \u2014 Sunday, October 15th \u2014 Marty\u2019s personal amazing tales from the 70\u2019s and beyond in this special interview \/ show & tell session with Tom Fitzgerald and Marcus Herring.<\/span><\/p>\n
